The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Queen’s University and the Kingston Health Sciences Centre is accepting applications for locum anesthesiologists beginning January 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024. Qualified candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and possess a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons fellowship, or equivalent.
Applicants must demonstrate potential for teaching contributions as well as evidence of an ability to work in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment. Academic Anesthesiologists

The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, is accepting applications for an academic anesthesiologist with postgraduate training in Quality Improvement. Candidates must possess a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada fellowship or equivalent. Postgraduate education in Quality Improvement is required. Expertise in advanced airway management is considered an asset. Candidates must also be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The position will consist of a mix of clinical anesthesiology, teaching and research. The position includes general, pediatric, obstetric and postoperative management of patients.
Preference will be given to applicants who have a strong track record or postgraduate education for innovative scholarly work. Applicants must demonstrate strong potential for outstanding teaching contributions as well as evidence of an ability to work in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment. CLINICIAN SCIENTIST ACADEMIC ANESTHESIOLOGIST

The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, is accepting applications for a Clinician Scientist academic anesthesiologist position. Candidates must possess a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada fellowship or equivalent, including a clinical fellowship in peri-operative medicine, and a Ph. D. in research related to peri-operative medicine. Candidates must also be eligible for licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The position would consist of a mix of clinical anesthesiology, teaching and a heavy emphasis on research.
The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of high- quality research output and will exhibit strong potential for innovative and scholarly research. The candidate will display evidence of being able to lead independent research. Protected time and appropriate resources are available to those who establish a significant research program.
